To the right is our "Official" VYSO RADIO STATION - which will
broadcast LIVE! 24/7 - 365 Days a Year! Through a generous grant
from ERMMedia, VYSO is not only able to reach listening audiences
world-wide - BUT - we can also do LIVE events from our station!

VYSO ON THE MOVE!
The Award-Winning VYSO is pleased to announce that it has now
moved into it's own theatre!
Situated in the historic Olde Towne section of Portsmouth, VYSO
now performs and rehearses in its own 19th century theatre!
Opening Night was November 20, 2009! Ttake a look at our theatre
rehab in progress at www.vyso.us/theatre.html.
The Award-Winning VYSO is pleased to announce that it has now

New VYSO CD
The unique VYSO has recorded five (5) full length CD's (most of
which are available on amazon.com!) and two (2) DVD's - which
have both won coveted Videographer Awards! Now, it adds another
wonderful compact disc to it's collection.
The newest CD - a complete studio CD - features the Beethoven
"Symphony #1" & Composer-in-Residence Nolan Eley's "Water" -
recorded in Prague. It also features the "Don Giovanni" overture
and the music from "Psycho." It is available now!

The award-winning Virginia Youth Symphony Orchestra is one of the
most unique youth organizations in the country.
Headquartered in the Tidewater area, the VYSO offers a unique
place for the young musician to learn and grow in a safe and
exciting atmosphere.
Situated in it's own rehearsal & recording studio, the VYSO performs
only professional orchestral literature that spans and defies
categories! The award-winning VYSO even has it's own RADIO

Known for it's ecclectic and exciting performances, the VYSO
performs great Classical repertoire, Jazz, Broadway, First-Run
Movie Scores and works with World-Class artists from soloists to
rock and pop bands.
