2009 - 2010 VYSO CONCERT TOUR TO LONDON &  PARIS
December 25 - January 1

December 25, 2009
We leave our new theater (New Colony Theater) this afternoon excited for the incredible voyage ahead!

December 26, 2009
London!  We've arrived!  After clearing customs we meet our guide Pamela and are whisked off on a Panoramic Tour of this
magnificent city.  We are informed, in a lovely English accent, about Buckingham Fountain, The BA London Eye, Trafalgar Square,
Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament & Piccadilly Circus!
After the Panoramic Tour and lunch we head to our hotel, check in and are treated to a lovely banquet.
Trying to stay awak due to the time change and exhaustion of travel, some of us even venture out to explore this great city.

The morning starts with a terrific breakfast and a tremendous rehearsal.  Sounds great!
After rehearsal we pass through the Bank of England to St. Paul's Cathedral and London Bridge.  We have a guided tour of the
Tower of London and the incredible Crown Jewels!
Lunch at the Tower
Guided Tour of Shakespeare's Globe Theater - a fabulous re-creation of Shakespeare's theater - which happens to be the busiest
theater in all of London - and it has no roof!  (Historically, the building was open to the elements and was only in use during the
Spring through Fall seasons.)
Dinner all together and then back to the hotel.
A great Day!
